The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the entire region. Dangerous winds and potential for the ponding of water on roads making for hazardous driving are likely.

WEATHER ALERT 3/12 UPDATE
The National Weather Service has added portions of Roanoke County, The City of Salem and Montgomery County to the Flood WARNING. Also Buckingham and Fluvanna Counties in their entirety are now in the same warning. The Flood WATCH covers the entire region including those areas under a WARNING after said expires.
WEATHER ALERT 03/12
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood WARNING for Alleghany, Bath, Bedford, Botetourt, Craig, Highland, Rockbridge and Rockingham Counties and Cities therein. A Flood WATCH has been issued for the rest of the region as heavy rains are expected throughout the morning. Stay tuned to Classic 96-7 3WZ for updates.
